The Vehicle Selector is a Shopify app developed by Soul+Wolf that allows shoppers to identify their vehicle — by year, make, and model — and instantly see only the products that are compatible with it. No guesswork. No wrong orders. No friction.
Once a shopper selects their vehicle, their profile is saved to their session (and optionally to their account), so every product page, collection, and search result they encounter is automatically filtered to show only what fits. It's a smarter shopping experience that mirrors the service you'd get from an expert behind a counter — at scale, online, 24/7.
How it works
The flow is simple by design. A shopper lands on the site and is invited to select their vehicle through a clean, prominent Year / Make / Model dropdown interface. Once confirmed, their vehicle profile is stored and applied across the entire shopping session.
From that point, the catalogue responds dynamically. Incompatible products are hidden or flagged. Compatible products are surfaced with a clear fitment confirmation. Merchants can also surface vehicle-specific product recommendations — pushing the most relevant accessories or upgrade bundles to the right customers at the right moment.
On the merchant side, the app provides a straightforward admin interface for creating and managing the vehicle database and mapping compatible products — no custom development required for ongoing maintenance.
