The most critical component when developing and Ecommerce website is simple back end management. With 15 stores across Victoria, and well over 2,000 products, House of Golf needed a website that can handle their enormous showroom, and make the back end management process easy to navigate and user friendly for their large number of staff.
In addition, ensuring the user experience remains a seamless task for customers shopping online, or considering an in-store purchase.
USABILITY & MANAGEMENT
In order to manage such an enormous amount of products and differing store quantities, The House of Golf required their website to be fully integrated with their XPOS point of sale system. In addition to this, we explored various way to make the creation and updating of products an efficient and easy task for staff using the system.
Through a custom and purpose-built integration with XPOS, we were able to showcase the vast number of products House of Golf had in their showroom.
Furthermore, through configuring and modifying a the custom importer script, the ability for administrators to create products has since become a simple task. In summary, the maintenance of online products now reflects their respective in store availability, keeping customers up to date on the range of products almost immediately.
